Shawnta Welch
Shawnta Welch is the Director of Business Development and Marketing Director for Project Child Support, where she markets the company’s services to parents with child support dilemmas, and critiques and enhances the company’s services.
Her credits include:
- Super Bowl XXVIII appearance in 1994 with the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills.
- Featured in the movie Pandora’s Box with Rainforest Films; characters include Michael Jai White, Tyson Beckford and Monica Calhoun in 2002
- Featured in music Video “Stepping Out” with the production team Organized Noise, which has created hits for OutKast & TLC in 2003.
- International & National hair campaign for Profectiv hair featured in stores such as Walmart, CVS & Kroger in 2004-2008.
After spending several years in the entertainment industry, Ms. Welch decided to stretch her catalog and work for a fortune 500 pharmaceutical company in 2009 managing 45 employees and gained recognition as top performer for exceeding SLA’S (Service Level Agreement). Welch recently received the High Impact Award in 2018 for her exceptional performance. She is also referred to as “The Closer” and “Pay Day” amongst her peers and leadership team due to her successful track record.
Ms. Welch’s love for entertainment is ongoing, her exceptional negotiation sales skills and her business savvy work ethic has landed her first major distribution in 2017 with Google – YouTube Kids. Her first national animation project “Nubbin & Friends” was produced with her business partner Charles West, featuring celebrities such as Elizabeth Daily, Loretta Divine, and John Amos.
Ms. Welch has a passion for the community, she served as the Campaign Manager for Georgia House of Representative Doreen Carter. Doreen obtained the nomination as the first Woman and African American to win the Democratic Nomination for GA Secretary of State Race and was elected to the House of Representative Lithonia District 92 in 2015 and 2018.
